Performing in front of an audience

All our children are given the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. In EYFS, the children sing for their parents in Nursery, and perform in the Reception Nativity. KS1 perform the Nativity each year- performing for the whole school and their parents. Year 3 and 4, produce an Easter performance and Year 5 and 6, the end of year performance.

Outdoor Adventures

At Errington, we believe that every child should experience adventurous activities. We are very lucky to have our Outdoor Adventure Lead, Mr Fishpool, who provides opportunities for all the children in school to experience adventurous activities from fire lighting and orienteering to archery. Each half term a different year groups gets an afternoon each week full of adventures.

TRUST ADVENTURE PROJECT

Working with an artist- Dianne Bowell

Year 5 have been very lucky to work with the artist Dianne Bowell to produce a mural celebrating Errington Primary School and Marske-by-the-Sea. This will be a lasting legacy.

PLAYLEADERS

Our Year 6 children can become playleaders. They have special training and lead games for the younger children at playtimes. Taking on responsibilities like this can have a positive effect on the children’s self esteem. Watch Billy’s story below to find out more.
