Music

At Errington Primary School, we believe that music and the performing arts can have a huge
impact on a child’s holistic educational journey and development. Whilst following the
National Curriculum and Model Music Curriculum, we aim to provide a broad range of engaging opportunities for all our children to enable them to create, appraise, perform and enjoy music, develop their own musical and performance skills and appreciate a wide variety of artistic performances through live experiences both in school and in the wider community.

We utilise the skills of Tees Valley Music – who ensure that we offer a wide range of high quality musical instruction to pupils such as ukulele, samba drums and guitar. We also offer private music lessons including drumming, piano and guitar.
